Adirondack Experience

The Adirondack Experience has exhibits dedicated to the region’s natural and cultural history, including hands-on areas for kids. It is open from May 29 through October 9, 2023.

The pass provides 50% off admission for up to four adults or two adults and all children ages 17 and younger. Under 5 are always free. Present your library card and the pass to receive this discount.

Pass Rules:

  • Available for a seven-day loan, no renewals. Please return the pass as soon as possible so others can enjoy it.
  • Due to high demand, the pass can be checked out by the same household two times per year.
  • Holds cannot be placed; call the library to see if it is available.
  • Passes must be picked up and returned to the Kirkland Town Library. The pass can be put in a book drop if it is in an envelope.
  • Lost Pass Fee is $100.

Clinton Pool 

The Clinton Pool is open each season from mid-June through mid-August.

The pass allows a family, defined as a group of people who live within the same immediate household, to use the Clinton Pool for free.

Corning Museum of Glass

The Corning Museum of Glass is the world’s most comprehensive glass museum, with more than 20 live demonstrations every day, hands-on activities in The Studio and Innovation Center, and 35 centuries of glass art and history. All exhibits and demonstrations are included with admission. Present your library card and the pass to receive this discount.

The pass covers one adult admission. Each additional adult admission is $22. children 17 and under are always free.

Empire Pass

Empire Passes can be used at any New York State Park listed on the NYS Parks website  including, locally:

  • Delta Lake State Park
  • Verona Beach State Park
  • Chittenango Falls State Park
  • Green Lakes State Park

Fort Rickey Discovery Zoo

Open from May 13 through October 29, 2023.

The Fort Rickey Discovery Zoo pass gives 50% off admission for up to 4 adults and 6 children. Regular prices are: $10.25+tax per adult (16 and up), $8.25+tax per child (2-15), and under 2 is free.

MOST Museum 

This pass gives free admission to the MOST for 2 adults and their children under age 18 or their grandchildren under age 18. Additional guests will pay regular admission prices. To use the pass, show the card at the admissions desk.

This pass does not include other discounts at the MOST. It cannot be used at other Association of Science and Technology (ASTC) museums.

This pass allows borrowers to purchase their own MOST membership at a 15% discount on the day of their visit.

The MOST is located at 500 South Franklin Street in Syracuse.

The museum is open Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 9:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. with some exceptions.

The Munson pass provides these benefits for two adults and children, 18 years and younger:

Onondaga County Parks Explore Outdoors Pass

The Onondaga County Parks Pass offers admission to:

  • Beaver Lake Nature Center (one personal vehicle)
  • Highland Forest (up to four visitors)
  • Oneida Shores Park (one personal vehicle)
  • Pratt’s Falls Park (up to four visitors)
  • Rosamund Gifford Zoo (up to four visitors)

Sciencenter

Sciencenter is a hands-on science museum in Ithaca, NY.

The pass provides free admission for up to two adults and children in their company. To get the discount, present the pass, a photo ID, and your library card. The pass cannot be used to access other museums in the ASTC network or for discounts on store purchases, birthday parties, mini-golf, or summer camp.

Utica Zoo

The Utica Zoo is located in Roscoe Conkling Park. It has outdoor and indoor animal enclosures, a petting zoo, nature trails, and more.

The pass provides 50% off admission for up to 4 adults and 6 children.
It cannot be used for entry into Utica Zoo Signature Events, Education programs, or for a discount in the gift shop.

Wild Center

The Wild Center is a museum with live animals, hands-on exhibits, an elevated trail, and much more. It is located in Tupper Lake, NY, which is a 2 ½ hour drive from Clinton. Their website has a lot of information on their exhibits.
