The Kirkland Town Library has fourteen pairs of snowshoes that can be borrowed for one week.
Snowshoes are sized by weight. Use this chart to determine which size is appropriate.
The fine print:
- Snowshoes check out for seven days. Only patrons 18 years and older can sign out snowshoes.
- The choice of snowshoe size is strictly the choice of the borrower.
- Snowshoes may not be tried on inside the library.
- Only the person borrowing this equipment may use it. It is not to be released or sub-leased to another person.
- The fees for lost, damaged or late returns are $5.00 per day for showshoes brought back late and/or a replacement cost of $150.00 per pair.
- Snowshoes must be returned inside the library.
